Engineering Experience

Game Developer Internship           Mindset Spinoff, Remote (Online)            Jan 2022 – Jun 2022

Designed, developed, and delivered high-quality game software, to industry standards
Ensured code functionality and maintainability via software quality assurance and testing principles.

Hardware & Software Intern           Arris, Bradford, UK            Jul 2018 – Jul 2018

Performed thermal testing on components and set-top boxes to ensure optimal performance across different temperature conditions
Soldering components while gaining an understanding of the design process for product internals and externals, collaborating with industrial, electronic and manufacturing designers.
Acquired comprehensive knowledge of software components in set-top boxes, including Arris's development areas and protocols (TR069, SNMP, XMPP), as well as research on middleware options like RDK and Android TV, deepening my understanding of their crucial role in set-top box functionality.

Mechatronics Project:

Designed and developed a mechatronic system prototype for a surgical robot, focusing on navigating an arena, picking up a pen, and drawing a circle on a whiteboard.
Took a lead role in designing the hardware and software, demonstrating problem-solving skills, adaptability to changing requirements, and successfully completing the project despite the resignation of a team member.

Racking Inspection Analysis:

Developed an advanced racking inspection solution with myself playing a crucial role in damage analysis and developing a sophisticated component detection and damage calculation solution.
Further, collaborating productively within a team of 8 engineers, I provided accurate insights for the team by utilising point clouds generated by simulation or scanning sub-groups.

Raspberry Blind Project:

I was a key player in the design and development of an automatic motorised roller blind using a Raspberry Pi, specifically tailored for individuals with arthritis.
The design was very well received by peers and thus the team and I showcased the project in multiple competitions, including the national 2019 Big Bang Fair, highlighting the dedication, technical skills, and innovation demonstrated by myself and the team

Fuzzy Models and Financial Markets:

Demonstrated technical skills in data acquisition and integration by utilising the Binance API to retrieve historical data for financial market analysis.
Implemented Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference Systems (ANFIS) for predictive analysis, showcasing a strong understanding of data modelling and forecasting techniques in the context of financial markets.

Educational Leadership: Empowering Peers for Academic Success

Throughout my education, I provided valuable support to students struggling with physics and mathematics, helping them grasp complex problems and develop independent problem-solving skills
Recognizing the need for additional maths support, I initiated and organised my own revision sessions for fellow classmates. Over a span of 14 weeks, these sessions led to significant improvement among attendees, boosting their confidence and understanding of the subject matter.
